Recently, Savannah and I had the opportunity to go to a Christian school’s chapel service in Northern Virginia. It was 1st through 3rd grade chapel, but some of the older elementary grades came to be part of the service as well. Earlier this week, Savannah and I were in central Virginia at a meeting. As we got to sit down with the pastor after the service, it was so encouraging to hear about his church. I recently had the privilege of being on a podcast with Scott DeVane, the youth pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Herndon, Virginia. Pastor DeVane has a podcast ministry that reaches out to teenagers, but is directly aimed at the teenagers of Temple Baptist Church. Savannah and I just returned from our survey trip this past Thursday. Alan and Elena Sutphen were gracious enough to host us in their home for the two weeks that we spent in Uganda.
