Savannah and I fully believe that our ministry does not start once we get to the field; we believe that deputation is a ministry as well. We are extremely grateful that this past week the Lord gave us a huge opportunity to do ministry. We were able to spend a couple days during the week between visiting churches to minister to teenagers. They were teenagers from our sending church in Herndon, Virginia. I gave a challenge to the boys and Savannah got to do the same to the girls. Throughout the time that we were there, we were able to counsel nine teenagers between the two of us. These teenagers made decisions after listening to good, Biblical preaching. Ministry takes many forms, but getting to invest into the younger generation is a special blessing because those kids are our future.
